What the Devil? Twitter Hackers!

This thing has been heating up all weekend with a phishing scam, reaching a fever pitch with other fraud scams this morning. Apparently, dozens of Twitter accounts have been hacked through DMs that ask receivers to click on a link contained in the message. Needless to say, this is not the time to open direct messages from Twitterers you don't know. More information on the Twitter Blog. Here are screenshots of these new Twitter account hacks. Even some unaffected twitterers are changing their passwords as a precaution. Personally, we won't be opening ANY DMs until tomorrow as Twitter gets a handle on this thing. Take it easy out there.

Its a damn shame that we can't even socialize without having some fool(s) come along and wreak havoc on us. I too will be changing my password. Just damned ridiculous. *sigh*
